When Will Smith wanted to knock “swimming with sharks” off his bucket list, it was destined for Discovery’s Shark Week. Check out the main title.
From the animator: “This was a lot of fun to put together. Creating a 3D Will Smith was surprisingly not the most difficult part. I spent the most time tweaking the ocean to get the waves just right. The ocean alone took 6 hours to render (as I needed to render each individual layer for compositing in After Effects), so I needed to make sure it was as good as it could get or else most of my time making this would be spent rendering.”
